Driving lessons for begginers
In your first lesson you will start learning your controls how to adjust your seat, your mirrors and eventually moving off and stoping on the side of the road.
1. Prepare Beforehand
Learn Basic Controls: Familiarize yourself with the controls — steering wheel, pedals, gear shift, indicators, wipers, and mirrors.
Adjust Your Seat and Mirrors: Make sure you’re comfortable, and you can see clearly through all mirrors.
Wear Comfortable Shoes: Avoid shoes with thick soles or high heels, as they can make it harder to feel the pedals.
2. Start Slowly
Your instructor will likely begin in a quiet area with minimal traffic. Don’t worry if it feels slow — it’s all about building confidence.
Start with the basics, like steering, braking gently, and accelerating smoothly.
3. Stay Calm and Breathe
It’s normal to feel nervous! Your instructor is there to guide you, so don’t be afraid to ask questions or for help.
4. Focus on Observations
Practice checking your mirrors regularly, noticing road signs, and being aware of your surroundings.
5. Practice Patience
Skills develop gradually, so give yourself time to learn without putting too much pressure on being perfect.
After Your Lesson
Take a few minutes to mentally review what you learned, and even jot down things you want to work on for next time.
The first lesson is all about getting comfortable. Just stay positive and enjoy the process — you’ve got this!
